Why This Program?
Our youth engage in team-based service experiences that build life and work skills, while inspiring a lifetime ethic of service.

Our program runs all year and we offer at least 70 opportunities to actively engage in the community, which includes a full summer camp-style experience that are either free or at minimal cost.

Our focus is on providing various opportunities for youth from all walks of life and abilities to be able to give back, learn and access experiences they wouldn’t normally have access to.

How You Handle Your Money Will Make Or Break Your Future
This Youth Financial Literacy Workshop, presented by Neil Buchanan from Community State Bank, taught students the basics of budgeting, saving, and making smart financial decisions. The students engaged in interactive activities where they learned the importance of distinguishing needs from wants and managing money wisely. They also explored real-world financial challenges, such as loans, credit scores, and unexpected expenses, while discussing ways to increase income through jobs or side hustles.

While YVC's main focus is youth volunteers from Racine County, YVC accepts youth volunteers from neighboring counties as well.

Yes! We offer over 70 opportunities every year. These opportunities occur on days off of school, weekends, and during YVC Volunteer Summer Camp.
