The Values of Volunteering
Volunteering is an incredibly valuable activity for both the community it serves and the volunteers themselves. Volunteerism gives you a chance to develop, utilize and share your skills, stay busy during a job search, retirement or time off, enhance your resume or applications and develop a network. If you’re new to the community, it allows you to practice, improve and maintain your language skills. It allows you to become a valuable role model to one or to many. Most importantly, it allows you to give back to your community and help to make it a better place for all. If you are at all interested in volunteering, please contact Michelle Ortwein at 262-886-9612 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
