I earned my Extra ticket in 1994 at the Racine Hamfest. I am the President of the Racine Megacycle Club and also a past vice-president, secretary and activities director. I am the License Trustee of the Lakeshore Repeater Association. I am the webmaster for the websites for both clubs.

I enjoy the art of the QSO most of all. To me there is noting better than meeting new friends on the air and getting to know them. Although most of the time You'll find me on various phone modes, you can sometimes Catch me on CW or trying to fool around with various digital modes.

Currently my primary station consists of an Icom 706 MKIIG with Butternut HF6 ground-mounted vertical and a 6 meter Ringo.

I like to have fun on the local repeaters using my Kenwood TH-F6A and I also run a Swan 500 CX with external VFO with many home-brew antennas and tuners from time to time.

I also have an Azden 6M Mobile rig, an Alinco DR-599 2M/70cm, an and a HTX202 for the VHF/UHF side. Comtronix 80 channel 10 meter FM rig and the newest addition is a little HTX-10 Radio Shack All-Mode 10 Meter Mobile.
