Stephanie Jones

Stephanie has been a reporter for The Journal Times in Racine since January 2008. She covers county and state government and writes human interest stories.

She has a degree in journalism and economies from UW-Milwaukee. She grew up an hour north of Green Bay in Wausaukee and before The Journal Times she interned at the Green Bay Press Gazette, happily reporting about Packers country. She is a new board member for the Volunteer Center of Racine County and serves on NAMI-Racine’s Bike N’ Hike Committee, helping market the annual Waterford event.

She also volunteers as a counselor at Badger Girl State, a week-long government camp for high school students, and has helped serve meals at HALO. She enjoys biking, skiing, reading and spending time with her husband Marcus.
