Scott retired in 2007 from the City of Racine after serving as the full time police attorney to the Racine Police Department for 11 years and an assistant city attorney for 18 years. He was also a former public defender. He has been married to Ellen for 23 years and has an 18 year old daughter, Kimberly. Lewis currently is teaching full time as a lecturer in criminal justice at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside.
