Paul Ramus has been Treasurer of the Volunteer Center of Racine County since 2005. He has been committed to assisting individuals and businesses achieve their financial goals for 12 years. Today he is a Financial Advisor with Raymond James & Associates where he specializes in retirement planning and 401(k) investments. He works with employees to help them assess their Retirement Readiness. Through a Gap analysis process he helps individuals create a vision for retirement, evaluate their progress, and create actionable steps to align their financial and life goals.

Paul graduated from University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a bachelor’s degree in business and went on to earn his MBA from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. Paul is currently studying for the Qualified Plan Financial Consultant (QPFC) designation from the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries and has completed professional development courses at the University of Chicago School of Business. He holds the FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses, as well as a life, health and variable annuities license.

As a young adult, Paul earned his Eagle Scout Award and made a lifelong pledge to uphold scouting values in a life of service. Paul is a past member of the Kiwanis Club of Racine, has served on the RCEDC Loan Committee, and has also participated in numerous Make a Difference Day projects as well as Weed Out! Racine initiatives.

Paul resides in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, with his wife Michelle, and their children, Brayden and Morgan.
