From Volunteer Center of Racine County

Marta joined the Board of the Volunteer Center of Racine in April, 2009 and is proud to be a member of a board of such a well-run and valued organization. Marta received the Volunteer Center of Racine Human Services Award in 2006 for her volunteer work in the community. She also received the YWCA Woman of Distinction award. Marta has a Masters degree in Public Administration from the University of Wisconsin Parkside. She is the Human Resources Manager for Racine County of which part of her duties are to promote volunteerism among employees. Marta is a 2001 Leadership Racine graduate and serves on the Leadership Racine Board. Other boards she currently serves on are The Alliance on Mental Illness of Racine County and the Racine and Kenosha Area Society of Human Resources Management Chapter.
