From Volunteer Center of Racine County

Marilynn has served as the Volunteer Center of Racine County's Executive Director since its inception, September 1, 2000. As Executive Director, she is responsible for the leadership and management of the Center to fulfill its mission to mobilize people and resources to deliver creative solutions to community problems. Marilynn has over 30 years experience in the nonprofit sector, working with volunteers, and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. A Racine native, Marilynn is an avid volunteer, serving our community since childhood. Marilynn has served on numerous nonprofit boards over the years. Currently she is serving on the Wisconsin National Community Service Board, Racine Dominican's Ministries Board Vice President, Catherine Marian Housing Board, as Senior Companion Program Chairperson and on a variety of community committees. She is a member of the Volunteer Center Association of Wisconsin, the American Association of University Women, and a Sustaining member of the Junior League of Racine. Marilynn and her husband Ken have two adult daughters, both living on the West Coast.
