Judith Nielsen, Volunteer Solutions Program Coordinator

Judie is a Racine native who loves to help others. She started her career at an early age by working at her family’s locally owned business. That job lead to her to working with various local businesses and manufacturing companies.

Having worked the majority of her life, retirement created a void. Judie began volunteering at the Volunteer Center in January of 2007. The Volunteer Center of Racine does so much for the community. Working with the Volunteer Center has opened the door to many others opportunities. She also volunteers with Lincoln Lutheran's various organizations, does fund raising and contributes her other free time to the YMCA and Crime Stoppers of Racine county.

Judie has a Bachelors of Arts in Marketing and Business Administration. She and her husband David (who also volunteers) like to travel and do home projects together! They have two Labrador retrievers that are very spoiled.
