From Volunteer Center of Racine County

Cathy began working as finance director for the Volunteer Center in February 2004. Her responsibilities include anything related to the financial portion of the organization, including assisting with fund development, fund raising and the financial aspect of the Center's multitude of grants.

Cathy has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, and has a C.P.A. certification. Her accounting career started with a small accounting firm in Green Bay, and has over 14 years experience in the nonprofit/governmental accounting field.

Cathy is a Sustaining member of the Junior League of Racine, and serves as treasurer for the Investment Club within their membership.

She has resided in Racine since 1994, due to job employment opportunity for her husband, Phillip. They have a dog, Tucker, a Lhasa-Poo, which they adopted two years ago. She is also an extremely avid and loyal Packer fan!
