Calla is a second year Youth Volunteer Corps/AmeriCorps Youth Team Leader with the Volunteer Center. She enjoys being an AmeriCorps member, and feels it has been an extremely rewarding experience. As a Youth Team Leader, Calla works with our Youth Leadership Program, Youth Advisory Board and Youth Summer Camps. She continually encourages our youth to volunteer and assist in finding appropriate opportunities to meet their interests.

As an AmeriCorps member, Calla is continually encouraging others to consider joining in the service. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have a passion for helping others and working with diverse groups. Calla has gained valuable skills and knowledge in her years of service.

Calla has an Associate degree and will be graduating in May 2008 with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work. She is also listed in "Whose Who 2008!"
